1 - Overview and delivery times:
Unless they fall under the restrictions set out in the “Delivery Terms” clause, products are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the Customer during the order placement process, within the timescale indicated on the order validation page by the Customer.
The timescales indicated are only an estimate:
The average delivery timescale normally varies between 2-3 working days within France and the DOM-TOM (French overseas departments and dependencies). For European destinations (outside France) and international destinations (outside Europe) the average delivery timescale is 4-15 days
An e-mail is sent to the Customer 24 hours after order confirmation in which information relative to the delivery is specified, such as the package number and the tracking number attributed to the order.
In cases where the delivery by a courier is subject to scheduling an appointment with the Customer, the former will contact you as soon as possible to make a delivery appointment, at most 30 days after confirmation of your order. Batucada cannot be held responsible for any delay to delivery due exclusively to the unavailability of the Customer after the courier has made several attempts to fix a delivery appointment.
When you order several products at the same time, and when these each has differing delivery timescales, the delivery timescale for the order is based on the longest delivery timescale. BATUCADA reserves the right at all times to split the deliveries. Processing and delivery fees will only be charged for one single shipment.
In case of delivery delays, an e-mail will be sent to you to inform you of the possible length of the delivery delay over and above that which you had been given. In cases of delayed delivery, we will offer you a new delivery timescale by e-mail.
In any event, in accordance with legislation, in cases of delayed delivery, you have the possibility of cancelling the contract under the conditions and terms defined by Article L 216-2 of the Consumer Code. In such cases, if you receive the products after your cancellation, we will reimburse you for the products and the outbound delivery fees according to the terms of Article L 216-2 of the Consumer Code.
We encourage you also to check the status of you delivery regularly and to contact us by e-mail in case of any questions or problems.
We remind you that at the time when you (or a third party designated by you) take physical possession of the ordered products, any risk of loss or damage is transferred to you.
2 - Delivery costs:
Delivery within Metropolitan France is free for orders over Euros 30.
For all orders under Euros 30, there is a Euros 2.50 delivery charge applied.
Delivery in Europe is free in the DOM-TOM for orders over Euros 35.
For all orders under Euros 35, there is a Euros 5.90 delivery charge applied.
Delivery in the rest of the world is free, for orders over Euros 75.
For orders under Euros 75, there is a Euros 15 delivery charge applied.
3 - Checking:
You must inform the courier and BATUCADA of any defects to the delivered products (e.g. damaged package, opened package…).
4 - Order Tracking:
Deliveries are made to your home or to an address of your choice) in a tracked parcel (by “La Poste” (the French post office).
You will be sent an e-mail within 48hrs of ordering and we will provide you with the tracking number for your parcel
There is an estimated delivery time of 1-3 working days for deliveries in France and of 2-15 days for deliveries to the rest of the world.

Tracking is available until delivery in France, Guyana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, La Réunion, St Pierre et Miquelon, St Barthélémy, St-Martin, Mayotte, Morocco, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Spain, the USA, Finland, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland,
And tracking is available within the boundary of French borders to other countries.
5 - Returns
If despite every effort on our part to satisfy our customers, if your order did not meet your satisfaction, in accordance with article L. 121-20 of the Consumer Code, you can return the ordered products for exchange or reimbursement within 15 days of receipt.
Returns fees are payable by the client (except under the exceptional circumstances when the product is not up to standard or is an order error).
We require all products to be returned by recorded delivery.
All products must be replaced in its original packaging, accompanied by a letter explaining the reasons you would like to be reimbursed.
Reimbursements will be paid out within a maximum of 15 days after your returns have been received (we do not reimburse returns costs) if the reasons, which are detailed in your reimbursement claim are acceptable to BATUCADA.
Reimbursements are either:
- made on the bankcard used to place he order;
- by check (only if you paid by check;
- by PayPal (only if you paid by PayPal, minus the deduction of the PayPal fees).
Notification of any orders which are not received by the customer must be made by the customer within a maximum of 15 working days after the maximum possible estimated, latest delivery date.
As soon as the e-mail notification of non-receipt of products is received, BATUCADA will initiate an investigation with the courier concerned.
Exchanges
All products must be replaced in its original packaging, accompanied by a letter explaining the reasons you would like to have a replacement.
If there is a difference in price, you will be notified in order to proceed with further payment or reimbursement.
Incomplete, damaged, worn or dirtied products will neither be exchanged nor reimbursed. Furthermore, returns are only accepted if the products still have their original label attached.
